Aluzinc Roofing sheets

Also known Zincalume or Gavalume, has two metallic constituents which create a corrosion resistance barrier effect - the aluminium present on the surface of the coating along with the sacrificial protection of zinc. The 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon double sided coating is applied in a continuous hot dip galvanising process that creates the attractive characteristic spangled silver finish, a thin layer of aluminium oxide which forms on the top surface preserves the appearance for many years.

Light Steel Structure

Light gauge steel construction is very similar to wood framed construction in principle. The steel used here is coated with zinc (called galvanized) or a mixture of zinc and aluminum (called zincalume or galvalume by some) to protect it from corrosion. The thickness of this coating can be varied to suit a range of environments. Typically, marine environments require the most protection, and dry, arid regions the least.

Mega Panel Houses

Mega Panel Construction System consists of reinforced zinc coated steel wire mesh electronically welded together onto a polystyrene (EPS) insulated core. The lightweight panels are erected and assembled on site using conventional building tools. After all electrical and plumbing works have been fitted; the panels will be covered with a layer of concrete (40 mm on each side). This produces a composite structure that has the strength of steel and the durability of concrete.
